1. About SalonRecords
SalonRecords is operated by Denton BBQ LLC in Denton, Texas. The platform is designed to help independent stylists and salons organize professional records and related business information.
SalonRecords is a software platform. Denton BBQ LLC does not perform salon services, determine professional treatment, provide medical advice, or act as a licensing or regulatory authority.
2. Accounts and authorized use
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure, maintaining accurate account information, and limiting access to authorized users. You may not access another stylist's or salon's records without permission.
You agree not to misuse the platform, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, upload malicious material, or use SalonRecords for unlawful activity.
3. Client records and professional responsibility
Stylists and salons are responsible for the records they enter, upload, maintain, or share through SalonRecords, including customer contact information, appointments, formulas, service records, photographs, notes, and consent-related information.
- Obtain any consent required before collecting or storing client information or images.
- Use client information only for legitimate salon and business purposes.
- Maintain records accurately and correct information when appropriate.
- Follow applicable professional, licensing, privacy, employment, tax, and consumer-protection requirements.
4. Appointments, communications, and booking information
SalonRecords may support appointment records, BookYourStylist connections, email notifications, and SMS-related features. Users are responsible for confirming appointment details and obtaining any consent required for electronic communications.
Delivery of email, text messages, or other notifications is not guaranteed because delivery may depend on third-party networks and service providers.
5. SDS library and professional reference material
The SDS Library and related links are provided as a convenience and professional reference tool. Denton BBQ LLC does not manufacture the products, create the manufacturer SDS documents, or guarantee that a linked document is the most current version.
Stylists and salons remain responsible for verifying current manufacturer documentation and complying with workplace, safety, licensing, and recordkeeping requirements that apply to their business.
6. Photos, files, formulas, and uploaded content
You retain responsibility for content you upload. By using SalonRecords, you authorize the platform and its service providers to store, process, transmit, and display that content as needed to operate the service for you.
Do not upload content you do not have the right or permission to use.
7. Third-party services
SalonRecords relies on third-party providers for functions such as hosting, authentication, databases, email, SMS, file storage, analytics, and related infrastructure. Those services may have their own terms and policies and may occasionally affect availability.
8. Fees and paid services
If paid subscriptions, setup services, managed services, messaging charges, or other paid features are offered, applicable pricing and billing terms will be presented separately. Unless otherwise stated, fees for services already provided are non-refundable.
9. Availability, changes, and data preservation
We may update, improve, replace, suspend, or discontinue platform features. While reasonable efforts are made to operate SalonRecords reliably, uninterrupted or error-free service is not guaranteed.
Users should maintain any independent copies or exports required by their business, insurer, licensing authority, accountant, attorney, or other professional advisor.
10. Suspension and termination
Access may be limited or terminated for nonpayment, security concerns, unlawful use, abuse of the platform, material violation of these Terms, or circumstances that create a risk to SalonRecords, Denton BBQ LLC, other users, or third parties.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
SalonRecords is provided on an "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. Denton BBQ LLC does not warrant that the platform will satisfy every legal, licensing, regulatory, professional, or business requirement applicable to a particular stylist or salon.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Denton BBQ LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from use of or inability to use the platform, loss of data, third-party services, or decisions made using information stored in SalonRecords.
12. Intellectual property
SalonRecords, BookYourStylist, site design, software, branding, and related platform materials are owned by Denton BBQ LLC or used with permission. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the platform or its intellectual property to users.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that is not otherwise resolved by agreement will be handled in an appropriate court with jurisdiction in Denton County, Texas, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms as the platform evolves. The effective date shown above will be updated when material revisions are published. Continued use after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
